Kevin has a long and successful track record in leadership, management and governance roles in innovative, fast-growing companies. He most recently served as chairman and CEO of Amgen, the world's largest biotechnology company. Under his leadership, Amgen successfully launched nine products, completed the biotechnology industry’s largest-ever acquisition, and grew its annual revenues from $3 billion to $16 billion. Currently serving as a director of Chevron Corporation and Northrop Grumman Corporation, he previously served as a director of 3M Company, the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation and Unocal Corporation, and held chairman of the board positions for Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America and the Los Angeles County Museum of National History. He earned his M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and is a senior lecturer in business administration at Harvard Business School.
